Following the fashion trend of the day can be a risky proposition. Identifying the right methodology for a proposed project often necessitates seeing past the “label” and a willingness to abandon what may be an entire range of assumptions – assumptions that, if incorrect, can compromise both the financial outcome and many aspects of the delivery of a major project.
